What is Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS)?

Electric muscle stimulation (EMS) is a 20-minute training program designed to build muscle, increase strength, burn fat, improve posture, strengthen the mind-muscle connection and improve overall body composition.

EMS training is a whole-body workout, using electrical signals to stimulate (fast-twitch and slow twitch) muscle fibers to contract and calm. Electrodes send electrical pulses throughout desired muscles with an exact stimulation frequency, working directly on the tissue to achieve a clean, perfect contraction.

The leading protocol heightens nutrient distribution blood flow and has a powerful capacity to recruit and energize muscle fibers. As a result, EMS facilitates comprehensive muscle health.

How does EMS Training work?

During traditional strength training, the brain sends impulses that stimulate certain muscles to contract. However, not all muscles have a well-developed connection to the brain and these muscles are not activated as easily and therefore they will not develop so well.

EMS Training stimulates all the major muscle groups and also helps to develop the motoric nerve connections relating to muscle movement. By sending electric impulses directly to these motoric nerves, even the weakly connected muscles are activated.

Because muscle fibres are activated in a non-regular order with EMS Training, a more intense level of training is enabled from the start, which creates more muscle fibre at an accelerated rate. More active muscle tissue requires more energy intake which therefore burns more calories, even at rest!

How often do I need to train with EMS?

EMS Training works with electric impulses which are similar to the body’s natural stimulus transductions. These additional impulses are stimulating muscles via the adjustable full-body XBody Training Suit. This state of the art technology gives all the benefits of a 90-minute workout in just 20 minutes, and 2 training sessions per week is enough!

XBody EMS Training allows gaining muscle mass and shedding fat, increases calorie burning capacity and boosts metabolism.

What are the benefits of EMS Training

Build Muscles

The electrodes are placed on the body, directly over each major muscle group, so all the impulses reach their target. It’s easy, safe and you can’t go wrong.

Improve Posture

Using EMS can help improve your posture, as the special training programs contain exercises for the back, the lower back, the abs and even the shoulders.

Achieve a Toned Body

Full-body EMS strength training combined with cardio sessions can help you get your muscles toned, burn fat and reduce cellulite. Circulation of the muscular and connective tissues will be enhanced which can lead to firmer and more toned skin as well.

Relieve Joints

Unlike regular training with weights, EMS Training will not put additional pressure on your joints and with the help of a specialist, it can be used after an injury or with joint pain as well.

Balance Out the Muscular System

EMS can also be used if there are muscular imbalances or underdeveloped muscles in the body. Targeting the appropriate muscle groups is easy with the professional placement of the electrodes in the specialized XBody training suit.

Save Time

“Time is money” as the old saying goes, and it is especially relevant in today’s busy world. With EMS you can achieve the results of a 90-minute training in just 20 minutes, including strengthening and cardio sessions.
